The Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH), the sole accrediting body for Master of Public Health programs, recommends that accredited MPH programs follow the MPH Core Competency model developed by the Association of Schools of Public Health (ASPH). Although admission requirements to an MPH program will differ slightly according to school policy, most schools maintain similar requirements:
